This is what I'm doing this week

We are on our 2nd day of potty training and it's going pretty well, I guess. Only 2 accidents yesterday and one at the library this morning (puddle on the floor by the puzzles), but they say it only takes 3 days??? How can that be? Wish me luck....More post to come.

Last Day of School

I am having mixed emotions today that I did not expect. My 6 year old is actually SAD that school is over! How can that be? He's not even excited about the upcoming summer break b/c he loved school so much. I am very happy that he enjoyed the school year so much, but also a little worried that it's going to be a long, hot, boring summer. He had the 2 greatest teachers and I find myself worrying about who his teacher will be for 1st grade already. Will she be as good and his 5K teacher? Will we all like her? Will he have lots of homework next year? It's a weird emotional day for me and the little guy. I'm sure he will be over it by tomorrow as soon as he gets to t-ball practice, but today I'm a little sad that 5K is over...

Our family spent some (much-needed) vacation time in the NC mountains visiting my Mom in May. The boys had a GREAT time at the White Squirrel Festival. Their Grandmother even bought them both their very own White Squirrels! A visit to OP Taylor's toy store, a train ride and jump castles too-it was quite a day and so..... much fun for everyone. We can't wait to go back.
