Lollipop, Lollipop....

Dargan loves him some lollipop!!! We brought home the first of the Halloween candy this week and I think the little guy ate ALL the lollipops in the entire basket!!! I know, bad Mommy, right? It's Halloween week though, an exception to the rule....Let's hope so.....

Seafood Festival at the Maritime Center

We attended the Seafood Festival at the Charleston Maritime Center last weekend. It was a beautiful day despite the horrendous rainy day we experienced the day before. Side Note: Charleston got 8 1/2 inches of rain on this Friday -- October 17th!!! The boys had a great time.... Will had fun on the jump castle....Dargan had fun eating some very tasty food prepared by some great local restaurants. We all enjoyed watching some local fishermen clean some shrimp on a boat docked nearby. Will was VERY proud of his Skull and Crossbones painted face.....

"A Pug's Life"

I have always heard that pets do NOT enjoy Halloween and now I can see why. My 2 pugs - Cooper (12 years old) and Ashley (10 years old) did NOT enjoy dressing up in costume this year....Cooper would have made such a cute little devil and Ashley --such a pretty witch, but it was all we could do to keep the costumes on them long enough to take pictures. Will practically had to tackle the poor animals and hold them still for me!!!Cooper ran off at one point and rolled in the mud in an attempt to rid himself of his red cape. And Ashley was not diggin' that witch hat AT ALL!!!Get that damn thing off my head was all I could get from her!!!Oh well, the boys and I attempted a costume dress party with our dogs-who knew they would hate it so..... much?????

First Report Card

Daddy & Will on the day Will caught a fish

Will's first REAL report card

Will got his first report card at Laurel Hill Primary last week. His teacher, Mrs. Smith could not say enough great things about him!! Daddy and I were so proud of our little guy!!!!It's hard to believe that Will is reading sight words now and he's only been in school for a little over 2 months. I was so surprised with the picture he drew of himself and Daddy fishing and the words he used to describe the event. And he did it ALL by himself....WOW was all we could say.......

Another Fall Festival....

Mommy & Dargan

My Superheroes-Superman & Spiderman

Our Friends---Mark & Melissa Michel

Will & Sophie Michel

We attended the East Cooper Baptist Church's Fall Festival "Trunk or Treat" this past weekend with The Michel Family. Will, Dargan, Thomas & Sophie all had great fun in the jump castles and trick or treating. Dargan's favorite part was getting to "trunk or treat." There were 2 long rows of cars and trucks with their tailgates down and everyone gave out candy. Little Dargan got the hang of this scene pretty quick. He just took off with his basket and held it out for "more candy Mommy." A great time was had by all and all the kids are READY for the big night--HALLOWEEN!!!!!
