Award!

I was so excited to receive an award from organizewithsandy. I am still pretty new to the world of blogging-just started my blog in August 2008, but needless to say I am hooked. Memories...

It became apparent to me today just how fast times flies. I got out one of my winter coats to wear this weekend and noticed something was protruding from the pocket. To my surprise, I reached in and pulled out one of little brother's pacifiers from last year. It's hard to believe just how MUCH he has grown in only 1 year. He no longer has the pacifier and is now talking up a storm. I also discovered where all the missing pacifiers went-in my coat pockets...

Motivation?

I bought some pricey new running shoes [see below] this week in an attempt to motivate myself to get back into running. Well, the only thing close to running I have done this week is push my 2 year old around the block on his tricycle. Does that count? The shoes did feel good, but the real question is -Will they help motivate me to run next week at the running camp I'm signed up for? We will see. The first night is next Wednesday. Keep your fingers crossed for me...

OCD...

Did I tell you that I have a little bit of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) when it comes to something I like? Well, the object of my obsession right now is my new Wii Fit. I actually spent an hour and 1/2 on it just today! The balance games are too cool and so... much fun! Did I mention I LOVE it? Now let's just see if it actually helps me lose weight...Check back with me in about a month.

Who wants a CLEAN HOUSE?

I know what you're thinking. Who in the world is this sassy black woman - flower in her hair and all - on this Two Little Lamb blog??? Well, she just happens to be the star of one of my favorite tv shows. The show is Clean House and her name is Niecy Nash. I can't seem to get enough of it or her *** She's just so... Sassy! Every time I watch it I no longer feel so bad about my load of unwashed laundry or my few nick nacks sitting ontop of various peices of furniture.

I think it's the before and after that gets me. How cool is this?

The Band in action

Grandmother "Mimi" gave us Rockband for Christmas and the boys really love it. It's really addictive and fun-I love the drums... Please excuse the pj's and no shirt. My little ones do not like to wear clothes in the hosue, esp. during Christmas break. I must say they have gotten pretty good on the drums and guitar. So much technology and just not enough time to play it all...

I've got nothin' today

Except a picture of a really cute guy I like to watch on tv....Simon Baker- age 39. Can be seen on Tuesday nights on CBS on The Mentalist. Check it out-it's a really good show.

My Mom & Big Brother

My Mom came to visit us after Christmas this year on her way back to her home in the NC mountains. The boys were so... excited to see her and what she had brought them for Christmas. She brought Big Brother a Nintendo DS and a cool bird house (that you paint on) & Little Brother got an ELMO Knex set & an ELMO inflatable bed. Did I mention Little Brother likes ELMO? DS has become a common word in our household.
I have already decided that Little Brother needs a Leapster for his 3rd birthday so that he can have his own "DS" just like his big brother.
