vacation..

We are headed out tomorrow morning for a nice long, well-deserved vacation in the NC mountains. My Mom lives there and the boys will be spending some quality time with her while Daddy & I spend some time at the spa. We will be celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary and I plan on coming home well-rested with some nice looking feet...

Okay, seriously, is this kid cute or what? I know I ONLY caught the last 2 episodes of American Idol and did not follow the show the entire season (shame on me, right?), but who can resist this cute smiling wholesome face? Call me "old fashioned" but the black nail polish and mascara on Adam just rubs me the wrong way. Yes, Adam is a GREAT singer and I'm sure he will go far, but Kris was my favorite.

This year's soccer season finally came to an end and my little 6 year old man scored big! He started off the season getting better with each game and during this last game----he scored BIG!

3 Goals and MVP of the game. He came so far this year with just a little practice and determination. I see SOCCER in my future and that's just fine with ME....
