Wordless Wednesday...sort of

I will be out of the blogging world for a couple of days. We are headed to Disney World over winter break. I'll be back next week with lots of new pics from Disney.

Playground fun

My boys LOVE the playground... Sometimes I think they could play all day if I let them. Big Brother is ALL over the place- climbing on equipment and trying everthing out. Little Brother just wants to SWING. He's perfectly content to just hang out in that swing. It takes a lot to persuade him to check out some other parts of the playground. Such fun...

Twilight.

I have seen Twilight twice now. Am I a vampire freak or what? Two of my best friends -Melissa, Jeanne and I used to love Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and now we have moved onto Twilight. It's great, really. Have you seen it yet? I have just started reading the first book of the series and can't seem to put it down. This is one of my favorite pics from the movie. I can't wait to crawl into bed tonight and read some more...

Brothers & Friends

I love this picture of my boys. It was taken in the summer of 2007 and the boys were playing in the little plastic pool in our backyard. How can something so simple be such a precious memory in a mother's eyes? They still are best buddies (mostly) and miss each other when they are apart-I love that! They are starting to have their share of fights too-which is quite fun for me...NOT. My only hope is that they remain friends like they are now forever and ever....

Tip...

I stumbled across a great tip from tipjunkie for organizing kids puzzles. My boys rarely play with their puzzles because of the way they are housed. I bought one of those wooden boxes filled with slots where the puzzles fit (when ALL the pieces are perfectly in place). Well, needless to say, my 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old do NOT have the patience to place all the pieces just so that the puzzles slide back into the slots. Useless box! I am totally trying tip junkie's idea and putting them in ziplock bags so that they can ACTUALLY play with them! Ingenious and so NEAT and TIDY too...
