Marbles....

Little Brother's favorite thing has always been balls-any size, any color. Balls, balls, balls.... He just can't seem to get enough. When he discovered marbles-it was way tooo cool!!! Glass balls-how exciting can it get???? The day I got them for him he played with them all... day. I mean all day. I think he put them in every container we have just to pour them out and put them in again. And when Will got home from schhol that day he was ready to fight him for them...It was hard to pry even one out of his hand to show to Will. Who would have thought little glass balls could be so much fun????

My little cutie....

Dargan loves his bath. Every day, no matter what time of day, he wants his bath. Sometimes he takes 2 or 3 which is not such a bad idea for me because he plays so well in the bathtub. He has just started wanting lots of bubbles which he was terrified of when he was a tiny baby??? Now, it's the more bubbles the better.... My favorite part is when it's time for him to get out and I wrap him up like a little burrito. Here's a picture of my little cutie fresh out of his bath wrapped up like "my little burrito."

Mulch World.....

Will and Dargan had so much fun helping us put out the mulch we had delivered to our house today. Will grabbed his shovel and started working like such a big boy. Dargan climbed onto the big pile of mulch and Will exclaimed, "Mulch World!" It was a hard day of work for Mommy & Daddy, but it made it all worth it because the boys had so much fun....To our surprise, Daddy discovered 2 large toads that had been living under the dogloo. The boys had never seen real live toads before and it was quite exciting!!!They put them in their bug kit, but let them out after a few hours because we felt bad for them. All in all, it was a beautiful, cool day and a real joy for all of us to work together to make our yard look nice....

Backyardigans show on 9/16/08

I took Big Brother, Little Brother and BB's best bud Matthew to see the Backyardigans show. Big Brother and Matthew were so excited when I picked them up early from school. Their teacher walked them to the office to meet me and they were all smiles....The show was really entertaining and the boys loved it!!!! By the end all 3 boys were standing up dancing and singing...It was quite an event. They were so well behaved that I bought them each a stuffed Backyardigan. How one stuffed animal can make a chld so happy is beyond me??? Whatever makes them happy, right?

20 Year High School Reunion.....

It is hard to fathom that I have been out of high school for 20 years!! Whew... where did the time go??? Our class was small (we had 27 in our graduating class), but we had a good time and partied hard. We had our reunion at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC. The party started at Stool Pigeons and continued to Crocodile Rocks and Revolutions Dance Club. Boy-- did we have a good time or what???? We danced the night away to music from the 80's, including one of my favorites-Baby Got Back... I think all of us knew every word to that song... Jello shots rang out and we partied til about 2 a.m. As you can tell from the pics-a good time was had by all........

Bowl Haircut....

Alright, I admit it-I have always wanted one of my children to have a "bowl" haircut. I just think it's so cute and little brother has the perfect hair for it. Big Brother's hair was too curly for the cut, but LB's is just right. LB sat so still while he got his hair cut. It took about 20 minutes-it was hard to believe he sat still for all that time. She did have to bribe him with a treat, but he did great. My little man looks so cute. I hope Daddy likes it!!!

Night out w/ kids....

Hubby & I decided to take the boys out to eat at The Kickin Chicken-one of our favorite places. When we got in the car Little Brother said "eat" and Big Brother said, "are we going to the place with all the games?" They both love to shoot baskets and pretend to play pool. Since Little Brother is crazy about balls it's the best place he can imagine. Our food was great and the boys must have been starving b/c there was steady eating for about 10 minutes. As soon as they were full-they wanted to get up from the table and play with the balls. The USC vs. Georgia game was playing on the many tvs and USC was actually winning while we were there. Needless to say, they ended up losing in the 4th quarter like they always do. A fun night was had by all.....

Little Brother & Coop

As it turns out, Little Brother is a huge animal lover. He especially loves his pug-Cooper. I got Cooper when he was only 6 weeks and now he's 11 years old. That's pretty damn old in dog years!! He's a great dog and just loves little LB. Every morning LB wants to give him his treat and sit with him for a while. I am really starting to think the dog actually enjoys the time he spends with LB. LB and Cooper have a special bond.....Cooper was my first baby. I remember th first night I got him, he slept in the bed with me and pooped about 10 times in the bed that night. What a mess and what's so bad about it is that he's still not potty trained!! The dog is too stubborn to be trained. As soon as you turn your back, he's pooping or peeing right on the floor. When I first met my hubby, Cooper immediatley marked all of his stuff, including his treasured golf clubs. Imagine that? Cooper has always been very protective of me and has always been a little wary of him.......
