Grey's Anatomy

Did anyone (everyone, that is) catch last night's season finale? Wow, was that deep or what? It really made me think about life and how quickly things can change (and for the worse too). I ended up crying when it was over partly because I wanted more and party because it made me think so much about life in general. What a GREAT show.....Can't wait til next season!

Rescue Heroes

My 6 year old is completely obsessed with Fisher Price Rescue Heroes right now. We have acquired about 15 of the men, a few animals plus 2 towers over the past few years and not until lately has he begun to really PLAY with them. Our neighbor, a 10 year old boy, is also a huge fan and brings his rescue heroes over to our house to play almost every day (for the past 2 weeks or so). I like them too because they're such sturdy toys and do all kinds of cool stuff. Most of them have backpacks that talk and shoot something which is really COOL. They quit making them in 2001 so they are pretty expensive now. I had NO idea that they were valuable until I went on ebay and did a little research. Who knew??? I got most of mine at misc. yard sales over the years. Does anyone else have boys that play with them? Here are a few that we have:

Jeanne, me & Melissa

Okay, go ahead and think it...I know, 3 women in their late 30's wearing Twilight t-shirts. Nerds, right? I know it's a teenage girl thing, but Moms need a little fun too. It was a Girl's Night Out-Twilight style. The 3 of us wore our shirts, ate bad food and drank some adult beverages while we indulged in the movie. So much fun and I highly recommend it.

A little about me....

I got this great idea from carolinamama1. I just became a fan of hers and love her Southern Blog. It's great....Check it out.

Where are you from? I was raised on a tobacco farm in the Pee Dee area of South Carolina and now live on the coast. I love being a Southern Girl and calling SC home!

What is the name of your blog? twolittlelambs

How did you name your blog? I wanted it to be something that meant a lot to my 2 boys-my boys each have a Lambchop that they can't be without. It seemed fitting to name my blog after the 2 lambs. I want this blog to be an online scrapbook for my family. It has become more and more of an outlet for me lately and a great way to meet some great bloggers just like me.

How did you get into blogging? My neighbor and good friend told me about starting her own blog: TwoBooBoos and I thought I would try it out too. Thanks Kristy!

What do you wish to convey on your blog? How much I love my family and how much they mean to me. Also to provide some insight into my life and thoughts for my boys.

What is your favorite thing about your blog? My family and friends keeping up with our life.

What is your favorite Ben N Jerry's Flavor? Phish Food.

What is your favorite song/iTune right now? That's a hard one b/c I like all types of music and it really depends on my mood.

Starbucks or McDonald's? Depends on whether my boys are with me or not.

Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts? Carolina Girls love their Krispy Kremes!

A favorite Carolina food or restaurant? Lowcountry Boil with lots and lots of shrimp....Yummy. Too many good restaurants @ here to chose one.

What is your favorite place in Carolina? The beaches of South & North Carolina-so relaxing and beautiful.

Great Deal!

Talk about a GREAT Deal! I found this little treasure at GoodWill of all places! It's a Leap Frog Leap Pad Learning System complete with 3 books and cartridges. My little guys love it. It's great for my 6 year old because if he comes to a word he doesn't know the pen will read it to him. It's also fun for my almost 3 year old because it will read the entire book to him. Such fun and what a great deal.....

Manic Monday

The month of May is flying by....Where did the time go? My boys only have a little more than 3 weeks of school left. I am NOT prepared for summer quite yet...Pool, beach, playground, backyard popsickles-sounds fun, I know, but also quite exhausting. We have a wedding in Savannah this weekend which I am excited about. It's been so long since I have spent any time there-such a beautiful place! Then the weekend after that off to Asheville to The Grove Park Inn to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I plan on spending one entire day at the Spa-which is hear is one of the best around. It's only 8:30 pm and I am ready for bed. It's been a typical Monday....

Happy Mother's Day!

This is a portrait of my Mama & me when I was just a baby. It is by far the most valuable peice of artwork I can think of. It has always made me feel special just looking at it and one day I hope to hang in in my own home for my boys to see and enjoy. Happy Mother's Day Mama! I can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks.....
