Aquarium Trip...

Will & Dargan had so much fun on our trip to the Aquarium. They dressed in costume and got lots of attention which was even more fun....The Aquarium was all decked out for Halloween with spooky stuff hidden all over...They even had a driver with a very scary mask feeding the fish in the large fish tank. His voice sounded like Darth Vader when he spoke. The boys really loved that!!!

The day has come....

The dreaded day has come...and way tooooo early. Today I put Dargan down for his nap @ 12:30 (his usual naptime) and the next think I knew the little stinker was peeping at me through the bannister on the stairs!!!! In the past he has ALWAYS been more than eager to take a nap or at the least lay down and rest. He has never gotten out of his toddler bed without permission!! He's only 27 months old!!!This cannot happen-when will I have my much deserved break????I remember when Will stopped taking his naps-I think he was about 3 and 1/2....What a sad realization that was!!!! .I know, I was so lucky with Will, but payback is hell, right? I guess I've got it comin' and his name is Dargan....

Only 2 years old---then....

My sweet first born child and "ANGEL" baby according to the textbooks. You are 2 years old in these pictures. How could you have gotten so big right before my eyes???Life seemed so simple then. You were attending Christ Episcopal day School 2 mornings a week-loved it and you had a Wiggles 2nd Birthday party complete with a jump castle in the back yard. I remember that weekend like it was yesterday....You asked me "Mommy can we keep it?" It was hard for me to explain to you that we only had it for the weekend and it had to go back to the store on Sunday....The tears came when Sunday came to an end...You jumped your little heart out all day Saturday and most of Sunday. It was a wonderful 2nd birthday......
