Before and After ~ Dining Chairs

I tried my hand at recycling some old dining chairs and they turned out great! What a fun project and took no time at all. A little sanding, priming, painting, a trip to Hobby Lobby for fabric and a little bit of stapling and I have some brand new chairs.... My inspiration was Lara Spencer from Flea Market Flip (which is my new favorite show BTW). She calls it "upcycling" when she finds something ugly and worn out and gives it new life. I just LOVE her....

Our New Puppy!

 

Our family is sooooo excited about our addition of a certain little white Maltese! She's a little ball of energy and the boys have lots and lots of fun with her. What a cutie!!!!

Hanging with the girls

Since I have 2 boys it seems like I never gets to do much girl stuff. I had the opportunity to hang out with 2 of my cute little nieces a while back. We talked about makeup, jewelry and clothes. They even showed me this cool app that gives you a mustache. How fun girls can be!!!

Egg Hunt 2013

 My little guy had a great time on his school field trip this year. They played games, ate lunch on picnic tables at the park and even had an Easter Egg Hunt. Check out the cute bags they decorated.

Leprechaun Trap

My little guy was so excited about his brand new leprechaun trap. He made it for his first grade class in hopes of catching one the little guys. No luck in catching one this year, but there was evidence that they were running rampant around his school getting into trouble as they went.
