Dargan loves his Lambchop. Will gave it to him at the hospital the day he was born (7-18-06) and he has loved it ever since. Sometimes when I check on him at night, he has his arm wrapped tightly around his lamb. If he gets hurt or upset the first thing he says is 'Lambchop, tee tee'. We have discovered just this month that his 'tee tee' is his name for his blanket. I have a bad feeling that these 2 items will be accompanying us on many trips outside the house from now on........

Beach Trip Aug. 2008
Our beach trip to Sullivan's Island with Teresa, Chloe & Cille. We must have picked the hottest day of the year to go to the beach - the heat index was 105-115 degrees. The kids had a great time anyway despite the extreme heat. We built sandcastles and played in ankle deep water. Teresa and I overheard someone saying that they had just seen a shark so we steered clear of the ocean. A good time was had by all........

Dargan just had to bring his 'goff" ball with him to the beach.
Last days of summer break
Boring.... Will says he's bored to tears! To top it off, it's 100% chance of rain today and we have no plans! Dargan is broken out in hives, even more so today than yesterday so I'm afraid to take him very far from home. He first broke out in a rash about 2 weeks ago and it's still lingering on. We just had an oatmeal bath and that seemed to help a bit. The poor child looks like he has the chicken pox.

Brothers...
Will & Dargan have already become such close friends. It's so cute to watch how protective they are of each other. Dargan even has the sympathy cry when Will is hurt and he cries too. We just moved them into the same bedroom this month and did not know what to expect. They quickly became used to having each other in the same room and love waking each other up in the mornings. The combining of all the toys in one room is another story. The room is a complete mess most of the time, but they are getting used to cleaning it up every night before bed.
