Are you a Pack Rat?

Did you know that the 4th week of March is National Clutter Awareness Week? I came across this useful tidbit from organizewithsandy's blog. I have even put my boys and husband to work recently and I must say they have done pretty well with agreeing to part with a few things. The key to becoming clutter-free is to get rid of excess things. Becoming clutter free promotes a more organized and orderly household. It helps to go room by room and not tackle the entire house in one day. Some clutter-free tips I use are:
  • Do I use it?
  • Do I need it?
  • Does to add value to this space?
  • What's the worst thing that will happen if I don't have it?

It's important to teach children that every member of the family must help out. While it's sometimes easier to do it yourself, remember that you are teaching your children skills they'll need when they're adults.
